Setting Up Automatic FSS Updates in TAR
After setting up the necessary FSS information in Tenant Accounts Receivable (TAR), you must then set up the ability to update that FSS information in TAR with information entered/changed in Occupancy and Rent Calculation (ORC). For more information on setting up FSS in TAR, See "Setting Up FSS (S8)".
Setting up automatic FSS updating in TAR involves 3 main steps:
ü
Set up default TAR tracking information. |
ü
Set up tenant accounts receivable (AR) account and FSS account information. |
ü
Set policy to update/not update TAR with FSS information. |
Note: It is recommended to set up both PH and S8 FSS information at the same time even if your HA does not participate in both programs. This ensures that if you ever do begin the FSS program, it is already set up and ready.
The following steps must be completed for each PH and Section 8 data area that will be handling FSS participants.
