My Options Setup

Before you can begin creating and submitting your tenant and voucher submissions to TRACS, you must first set up your individual login information and decide how you want TranSend to work for you.

Setting up your options involves 3 main steps:

Access My Options Setup

  1. Double-click on the TranSend shortcut icon on your desktop, enter your user name and password, and then click LOG ON. The TRACS Submission page appears with all active TRACS submissions listed in a table.
  2. In the Navigation menu to the left of your screen, click MY OPTIONS and then click the Logins icon (located at the top of the Navigation menu). The Logins page displays to the right of the screen.

Enter Your WASS/REAC Login

  1. Click on the toolbar; a WASS/REAC Login window opens.
  2. Enter your WASS/REAC username and password and then click to save and apply the changes.
  3. Click to close the window and return to the Logins page. Or, click to save your changes and automatically return to the Logins page.

Specify Your Individual User Options (how you want TranSend to work for you)

The options you set up here affect only the voucher and tenant submissions that YOU create in TranSend.

  1. In the Navigation menu, click MY OPTIONS and then click the General Options icon. The General Options page displays to the right of the screen.
  2. Check the checkbox if you’d like to automatically view a new submission’s details. If you check this box, a detailed information page for a new voucher or tenant submission will automatically open immediately after you create a new voucher/tenant submission record. If you do not check the box, you will have to manually access the voucher/tenant submission record details.
  3. Click to save and apply the changes.
  4. In the Navigation menu, click the TRACS Options icon. The TRACS Options page displays to the right of the screen.
  5. Check the checkbox if you’d like to wait to send a voucher or tenant submission after the validation of the submission is complete. If you check this box, this allows you a chance to see any generated errors for the submission and correct them before sending to TRACS. Also, if you check the box, you will have to manually send every submission.
  6. Check the checkbox if you’d like to automatically close submissions with no errors. If you check this box, if no errors are found for a voucher or tenant submission sent to TRACS, the submission will be automatically assigned a “Closed” status.
  7. Click to save and apply your changes. You have successfully set up your user options!
