Setting Up AMPs

AMP is an acronym for Asset Managed Project. This is HUD’s definition of a subset of Public Housing buildings and projects. You need to set up your AMPs before creating your FDS reports.

1. Click SETUP on the Main Menu screen and then click AMP LIST on the Maintain Ledger Settings screen that appears. The Maintain AMP List screen opens with all AMPs displayed in a table.
2. Click on the toolbar. The bottom area of the screen becomes available to work with.
3. Enter an AMP code (such as “001”) and a description for the AMP (such as “AMP 1”).
4. Click to save and apply your changes.
